New Novel: A Clean Job Of Murder

Welcome once again.

Keeping you informed of new additions and what's to come - that's the name of the business on Writes on Rebone.

You might just have a look at the new novel, called A Clean Job Of Murder, which is to be available soon on http://www.abook2read.com/

The book is a murder mystery where a former disgraced investigative journalist returns in this second offering to get embroiled in a murder case. The bad thing is the murdered guy is his old friend, and a retired judge. I say the investigator returns - that is because he made his debut in another crime and murder mystery called Summer Of Eighty-Four. Plans are afoot to publish Summer Of Eighty-Four in ebook format as well.

In A Clean Job Of Murder, Solly "Mzili" ka Afrika has to find the murderer among 13 guests that came to celebrate the old judge's birthday

Here's what to expect on the jacket of the book:

A Clean Job Of Murder:

Death is no welcome joke...

Especially for Solly ka Afrika, a former investigative journalist with a leading weekly. When he accepts an invitation to a launch party in Johannesburg, he thought he was paying homage to an old friend. Judge Jansen van der Schyff, his retired old friend, was celebrating his 80th birthday.

But the judge had the displeasure of hosting a right wing brother he had never seen or spoken to for over 42 years....

And a bitter, rich businesman whose divorce case he had presided over....

As the guests congregate on the lunch table in the marquee to sing for the judge, something horrifying happened...

Suddenly, the old judge slumped headfirst into his birthday cake - seriously dead!

Someone shouted: "It's a heart attack!"

Solly looks at all the guests - a strange bunch that annoys him, and somehow feels that the accident was staged. He finds himself in the midst of an unwelcome death.. or was it murder...?

Solly ka Afrika is disappointed that his hosts had invited him to drive 300 kilometers not as a guest of honour, but as a guest for death.

When the book becomes available on abook2read.com, buy it for download and read it to find out how the judge died. Or who killed him, if indeed he was killed. I am sure you will love it, just as I loved crafting every moment of this murder mystery.

Talk later
